The J-P Conte Foundation strives to support educational equity, social mobility, ecological sustainability, freedom of speech, legal immigration, and justice for all people.
We fund organizations that support American exceptionalism and values in schools, businesses and non-for-profits across the continent and beyond.

Our History
The organization was founded in 2017 by Genstar Chairman J-P Conte, in honor of his first-generation American parents, Pierre and Isabel Conte, who left everything behind to start a new life Brooklyn, NY.
The Foundation has delivered millions in funding for projects supporting immigrant and first generation students, immigration policy reform and providing medical and educational support.

We focus on funding projects that deliver real, accountable, change to communities and individuals: not just aesthetic public relations.
We currently work with PADF, UCSF, 10,000 Degrees, APEC, SEO Scholars, Pepperwood Preserve, and the new J-P Conte Initiative on Immigration at the Hoover Institution across a broad range of environmental, social, and educational causes.
